# Start here (/docs)

Pollaris setup is split into three paths. You do not need an agent credential to embed a form, and you must never put one in website code.

## Create forms through an AI agent [#create-forms-through-an-ai-agent]

Install the Pollaris CLI when you want a terminal-capable agent to create and publish forms for you. Ask the agent for a form in plain language. Pollaris gives you one authorization link, then the agent finishes the work and returns the public form URL.

1. [Install the Pollaris CLI](cli/install.md).
2. Ask your agent: `Create a library feedback form via Pollaris.`
3. Open the authorization link and approve the requested access.
4. Return to your agent for the published form URL.

You do not need to open the Pollaris dashboard, create an API key, use the editor, or click Publish.

## Connect an AI assistant [#connect-an-ai-assistant]

Use a direct MCP connection when your AI client supports remote MCP and you prefer to connect without a local CLI bridge.

1. Read the [MCP overview](mcp/overview.md).
2. [Create an MCP API key](mcp/api-keys.md) with only the access you need.
3. Follow the guide for [Cursor](mcp/cursor.md), [Claude Code](mcp/claude-code.md), [Codex](mcp/codex.md), or [another MCP client](mcp/other-clients.md).
4. Test read-only tools before allowing writes.

## Embed a form on a website [#embed-a-form-on-a-website]

Use an embed when visitors should complete a published Pollaris form on your site.

1. Publish the form in Pollaris.
2. Open **Share → Embed**.
3. [Compare the embed methods](embeds/overview.md).
4. Start with the [responsive iframe](embeds/iframe.md) unless you need custom markup or behavior.

## Use these docs with an AI agent [#use-these-docs-with-an-ai-agent]

Give an agent `/llms.txt` for a concise index or `/llms-full.txt` for the complete documentation. Read the [AI-agent guide](ai-agents.md) before sharing credentials or allowing an agent to change files.

## Fix a setup problem [#fix-a-setup-problem]

Use [Troubleshooting](troubleshooting.md) for authentication, connection, CORS, origin, and embed errors.
